For private customers, Citroën Finance offers two finance schemes for you to choose from. Elect 3 is the most popular and flexible option, as this allows you to regularly update your car every 2 or 3 years for a monthly payment you may find surprisingly affordable.
Alternatively, Citroën Hire Purchase is a more traditional funding plan - your monthly payments are calculated on the parameters set by you, i.e. the price of the car selected, your deposit and your preferred term.

Elect 3 for New Cars
Key Features for New Cars include:
- The opportunity to drive a brand new Citroën every 2 or 3 years
- Flexible deposits
- Affordable monthly payments
- A larger or better specified car
- Flexible options at the end of your contract.
- First, you select the new Citroën which best suits your motoring needs and decide which agreement term to go for - either 2 or 3 years
- Next, simply estimate the number of miles you expect to cover each year and choose a deposit which most comfortably fits your budget, this can be as low as 5% of the cost of the car.
- Citroën Finance will forecast the value of the car at the end of your agreement and this is known as the Guaranteed Future Value (GFV)
- Your monthly payments are fixed and will be less than with conventional finance plans over a similar term. This is because the GFV and deposit are deducted from the invoice price and payments are based on the remaining balance (plus interest)
Plus Elect 3 has an optional Protection Plan which offers valuable extra protection to all Citroën Finance customers. Although you are comfortable with making your monthly payments now, Citroën Protection Plan will take care of them when for whatever reason, you can't.
- Life & Critical Illness
- Life & Disability
- Life, Disability & Unemployment
What do I do at the end of the agreement?
Option 1 Part exchange your car for another new Citroën. The deposit for your new car will be the difference between the GFV and the actual part exchange allowance agreed by your dealer.
Option 2 You can choose to keep your car by paying the GFV. Once this sum has been received by Citroën Finance, the car is yours.
Option 3 Return the car with nothing further to pay. Subject to the car being returned on time, in good condition and within the agreed mileage, you may return it with nothing further to pay.
